Welcome  to  Secondary  School  /pol.Gimnazjum/  nr 1  in  Mikołów!

Let's  have  a  look  at  some  infos  about  school.

 To  our  school  attend  680  pupils  grouped  in  27  units  where  66  teachers  are  employed.

All  the  pupils  have  to  their  disposal:

♦ 29  teaching  classrooms

♦ body  building  and  the  sport  gym

♦ hall

♦ computer  study  /equipped  with  the  access  to  the  Internet/

♦ school  psychologist  and  pedagogue who help  in  solving  educational  problems. In  front  of  their  office  ,,A  BOX  OF  TRUST''  can  be  found  where  pupils  throw  pieces  of  paper  with  different  questions  and  infos  concerning  the  proplems  of  the  youth.

♦ a  common  room  /pol.świetlica/  which  is  mainly  involved  in  guardian,  educational  and  nutritional  activity.

♦ school  library – constitutes  the  inspiration  for  the  development  of  reading  culture  among  learners.

♦ the  school  nurse  who  ensures  medical  custody.

Pupils  take  part  in  many  subjest  contests  and  other  competitions  at  different  levels.

They  willingly  approach  to  sports  contests  e.g. volleyball,  basketball, table  tennis, chess  where  they  reach  high  places.

Moreover, our  school  focuses  on  versatile  education, honest  bringing  up  and  safety.

Its  aim  is  to  give  well  preparation  to  all  the  graduates  to  take  up  further  education.
